End Polio Now campaign earns top public relations award

Rotary's End Polio Now campaign has won a top award in global public relations from PR News, a public relations resource serving the communications and marketing community.

The highly regarded Platinum Awards presented by PR News salute the year's most outstanding communications initiatives and organizations, and honor corporations, agencies, and nonprofits that take chances, make significant strides, and understand the power of public relations.

In announcing the awards, PR News noted that Rotary's End Polio Now campaign has "worked to keep polio eradication squarely in the public eye, resulting in increased funding and an enhanced public image of Rotary as a global humanitarian service organization."
